Adverse weather conditions
In the event of adverse weather, it is always our intention to keep the school open and as such we will work to ensure that the site is both accessible and safe.
However, in certain circumstances, we may need to close the school. If we have to do so, we will communicate with the families via our school website and text message. Please ensure your contact details are up to date with the office at all times.
We will also notify Wakefield Council who maintain their school closure web page, from which local Ridings FM read out lists of closed schools.
Parents are advised to check the school information sources if in doubt. If no closure messages have been provided, parents should assume school is open as usual.
